With a variety of services available, you have the option to choose the level of coaching most suitable to your needs.

Helping you improve balance, functional movement, co-ordination and ultimately complete control of body movement, we aim to improve your speed, agility and athletic performance for either running or sport specific gains.

All services will teach the mechanics of movement...

* Use exercises aimed at developing fundamental motor abilities.

* Master balance, co-ordination and ultimately complete control of body movement to improve Speed, Agility & Athletic Performance.

* Increase efficiency of movement to help reduce the risk of technique related injury.

Our Development appointments will enable you to work with a coach over multiple sessions on a one to one basis to ensure you develop with the correct skill and have expert guidance every step of the way.

If you would prefer a more intense coaching session covering everything you need to know about running biomechanics, conditioning and technique, then maybe our 2hour technique or group workshop sessions are for you.

This service offers private appointments and coaching to develop strength, control and running form over multiple sessions.

Sessions are tailored to suit your current level of ability and circumstance i.e. returning to sport following injury, improving running efficiency, overcoming a recurring injury, improving speed…

Whether you are new to fitness, compete at club level for your respective sport, or are an advanced/elite athlete wanting to increase efficiency, this service will benefit you.

Contains functional progressive exercises, which will develop your body movement, motor abilities and running form.

Clients returning to sport following injury/periods of inactivity are advised to book this service for a tailored course.

Technique Coaching – 2hour session

This service offers private appointments and coaching to educate, assess and develop running mechanics in a single session.

Service includes:

  • Education on Running Biomechanics
  • Video Analysis of running technique (pre & post coaching)
  • Functional exercises and neuromuscular training drills
  • Practicing skilled running

Contains functional progressive exercises, which will develop your body movement, motor abilities and running form.

Clients requiring follow-up assessments and guidance are advised to book development sessions following this session.

Group Drills & Technique Workshop – 2hour session

This service offers a group environment and coaching to educate, assess and develop running mechanics in a single session.

Session will be delivered outdoors and comprise of practical work perfecting running drills and exercises to assist in technique improvements.

Content includes:

  • Warm up/cool down
  • Running Biomechanics Advice inc. Injury Prevention
  • Neuromuscular Drills to develop Speed, Agility & Technique
  • Practicing skilled running
  • Q&A 

Contains functional progressive exercises, which will develop your body movement, motor abilities and running form.

Clients requiring follow-up assessments are advised to book development sessions following this session.

Online Technique Assessment – 1hour session

This service offers remote clients the ability to receive one to one tuition including education, assessment and development of running form through video analysis and consultation services directly with The Running Coach. Anytime, Anywhere!

If you have the ability to record your running style (side angle view) and email this to The Running Coach, as well as utilise Skype for video consultation then this service is for you. 

Service includes:

  • Assessment of client running video footage  
  • Technique Evaluation Document - Pdf document detailing observations and recommendations on technique improvements 
  • Advice on Neuromuscular Drills to develop Strength, Movement and Technique specific to your assessment
  • 30minute video conference (Skype) directly with Technique Coach
  • Q&A 

Clients requiring follow-up assessments/ongoing advice are advised to book multiple Online Technique Assessment sessions.

CLUB / TEAM organised sessions:  (TAILORED TO SUIT ADULT / JUNIOR* TEAMS)

Multi-Directional Movement Workshop – 1.5hour session

This service is provided to Clubs/Teams who’s sport involves running with the additional complexity of linear and lateral directional movement requiring agility, speed and power ie. Football/Rugby/Netball/Cricket 

This is a group environment and coaching to educate, assess and develop running mechanics and player agility in a single session.

Content includes:

  • Warm up/cool down
  • Running Mechanics
  • Neuromuscular Drills to develop Speed, Agility & Quickness
  • Game Play scenario speed and agility exercises
  • Q&A 

Contains functional progressive exercises, which will develop your body movement, motor abilities and running form.

Group Drills & Technique Workshop – 2hour session
